Arts Partnership Study: Phase II

Phase II NEA study of Austin’s Arts Partnership Ecosystem

We are thrilled to announce the initiation of a new research activity focused on understanding and enriching our local arts education ecosystem!

MINDPOP has been awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for Phase Two of our research into the relationships between schools and arts partners in Austin’s arts education ecosystem. The purpose of the research is to learn from arts partners about their strategies for growing and sustaining work with schools and each other for different kinds of impact.

We anticipate sharing findings from this study with the broader arts and education community in Austin in Spring of 2023.

Dr. Brent Hasty and Dr. Adam Papendieck are leading the research. If you would like to learn more, or participate in the study, please contact Julia Vunderink, or reach out directly to Dr. Papendieck or Dr. Hasty directly.
