Fellowship Program - How to Apply

Qualified applicants will:

  • Currently attend an AISD public high school
  • Have a 2.5 GPA or higher
  • Have an interest in exploring careers in the arts or creative industries
  • Show leadership potential and a passion for learning
  • Have a track record of reliability and demonstrate a strong work ethic

  • If you would like to apply for the MINDPOP Fellowship for Creative Leadership, please follow these steps:

    Step 1:

    Fill out an online application here.

    Applicants also have the option of submitting a video application. Instructions for this method of applying can be found under "Related Documents" on the right.
    Applications are due March 31, 2016 by midnight.

    Step 2:

    Once all applications are reviewed, qualified applicants will be invited to submit additional materials and to attend an interview day.
    The following materials will be due on the day of interviews:

    Summer Conflict Sheet
    2 recommendation letters, one of which must be from a teacher, counselor, or principal at your school.

    Interviews will be held April 16. Each applicant will have two 15-20 minute interviews with a panel of two arts professionals.

    Ten Fellows will be accepted into the program, to be announced by the end of April, with alternates named in case a student cannot participate.
